Sign-In

This area is at the left side of the screen, shown here in red.

Sign-In allows you to do more with CivIS, such as adding and editing records. This is useful if you run an organisation or event and want to keep the record for it up to date.

Access to MyCivIS requires you to enter a valid username and password. To obtain a username and password you must contact the CivIS administrator.

  1. If the Sign-In tab is not the current tab, click on the SIGN-IN tab title.

  1. In the Username field, type your username, and in the Password field type in your password. These fields are case-sensitive.

Click Sign-In to sign-in to CivIS. Your username and password will be checked and, if accepted, the Sign-In tab will be replaced with the MyCivIS tab, the SEARCH tab will be displayed, and the Home tab will appear in the content area.

Note:  When you have signed-in, if you have sufficient permissions, you may have access to the Admin option in the Header Area and Footer Area. Help about this feature is provided by a separate help facility once you have selected the Admin feature.

Note:  If you have signed-in but do not interact with CivIS, after 30 minutes of inactivity you will be signed-out automatically.
