Did you know TV Licences are Free for people aged 75 and over?

Any household qualifies for a free licence if there is a person aged 75 or over living there and it is their main residence. The Licence needs to be in their name. If it's not, ring TV licensing on 0300 790 6165 and they will transfer it. You will need the older person's date of birth and national insurance number and the current TV licence number.

What is an over 75 TV Licence

After your 75th birthday, you can get a free TV Licence. It covers you as well as anyone you live with.

Please remember that you don’t automatically get an over 75 TV Licence on your 75th birthday. You have to apply for one.
