Complex Needs Advocacy supports people with a learning disability and complex needs. The project is aimed at people who do not match the criteria for Care Act Advocacy or Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy.
The Complex Needs Advocate aims to independently empower people to speak up, be listened to and promote their human rights. The Advocate can help the individual to be involved with any decision affecting their life. This may include things such as:
- Social activities
Complex Needs Advocacy also independently supports special projects such as complex safeguarding reviews, provider reviews, accommodation project planning and home closures.
