Beacon Independent Living Centre offers a range of practical, emotional and social opportunities as one day events, short courses or on an ongoing basis so that an individual needs are met.

Gym/Recreation/Sensory Suite

A range of group and tailor made exercise, fitness and health sessions. Focusing on improving mobility, balance, flexibility, fitness, and weight control for the less active to the very active and wheelchair users.

Arts and Crafts

Our enthusiastic tutors can show you how to continue to pursue your hobbies and introduce you to a world of new crafts.

Life Skills

Join ‘Living with Sight Loss’ or ‘Expert Patient‘ courses, which enable you to  explore your experience of sight loss and the support networks available.

Try one of our many practical support programmes to help you to remain independent e.g.
