Alzheimer's Society - Dementia Cafe Sedgley

Our dementia cafes offer a place for people with dementia and their carers to meet in a safe and welcoming environment where they may enjoy social activities and helpful talks.

We are a small group at the moment, around 10 people meeting each month, so we welcome new people.

It is a friendly and informal group and we try to combine practical advice and fun and enjoyable activities that suit different abilities.

So far this year we have had a violinist, a talk on scams, a drop in from the Dementia Gateway support workers, some craft activities and music - all this and plenty of tea and cake and time to make new friends. There is always something different and no 2 months are exactly the same.
