Alzheimer's Society - Dementia Cafe Brierley Hill

Our dementia cafes offer a place where people with dementia and their carers can meet up in a safe and welcoming environment where people may enjoy social activities and helpful talks.

We are a friendly group meeting at Nine Locks Community Centre; some people have come or a couple of years but there are usually new people joining us every month. So far this year we have had simple exercises for improving balance, a talk about Power of Attorney and other legal matters, music quizzes, word searches, skittles games, reminiscence and lots of practical information.
