About Dudley Community Information Directory
Information on the directory is provided by local people, groups and organisations and managed by the Community Information Team at Dudley Libraries.
If an activity, service or event isn’t listed please tell us. If we can find their details, we will let them know about the directory and ask them if they want to register – it’s quick and easy to do. If you know them, you can also tell them about the directory.
Help with Searching
• If you know the topic you are searching for, you can add keywords to the Search bar.
• If you are unsure of the topic you are searching for, you can search by the Directory Categories.
• Events can be found using the search bar, or by using the What’s On calendar.
Search bar
Type one or more words to describe what you are looking for (e.g. gardening) and click the ‘Search’ button.
The following tips may help to improve your search:
• Make sure that all the words are spelt correctly
• Try fewer words – one or two words usually work best
• Try more general keywords
• Try searching by ‘Directory Categories’ instead of the Search bar
Using search filters
Once you have your search results, you may be able to improve them by selecting one or more of the search filters. Filters are found on the left-hand side of your search results.
1. Choose one or more filters
2. Click the ‘Apply’ button to update your search results
3. To remove all filters click ‘Clear Filters’
Directory Categories
The Directory Categories can be found below the Search bar on the home page. They are also listed under the navigation buttons found at the top of every page.
1. Click on your chosen category
2. Click ‘View all services…’ or one of the available sub-category buttons
Once you have your search results, you may be able to improve them by selecting one or more of the search filters. Filters are found on the left-hand side of your search results.
What’s On Calendar
The What’s On Calendar allows you to look for one-off events and activities taking place across the Dudley Borough.
You can search between two dates by completing the Start Date and End Date boxes or use the Date Range filter to find something happening today, this week, this month or next.
Other filter options are also available to help you narrow down what you are looking for.
